Goo-Goo was a very stubborn child. I changed his diapers, I made sure his bottle was the right temperature. I burped him and brought him up, he wasn’t the head of the class in school, and he wasn’t a valedictorian. He went to Bible College and he truly believed that God had called him to this office. God however, never called Goo-Goo, he never spoke to him, he never in any way implied that he wanted him in the ministry. You do recall, I mentioned Goo-Goo was very stubborn!

Imagine now for a minute, that your biblical doctrine is wrong and you are going to the lake of fire!  It is entirely possible; your chapter and verse way of biblical study is not even adequate. I have read in the prophets that the salvation that you teach of was only available for slightly more than a single generation. That is what it says, it also says that grace was also only for this same period.

My evolution as a Christian has had its humble beginnings in the church, believing everything my pastor taught me.  I was launched into my own personal ministry when we had a demon-possessed man that took over one of our meetings.  I liked my pastor, I saw many things, even at that time and I was allowed to witness his weakness, in the areas of casting out devils and healing.  I had enough miracles at that time to believe it was a confirmation of my ministry, many healings, I even felt what I thought was virtue coming out of me when I laid hands on the sick.

The story here to follow, is a tragic tale of people living in difficult times believing in the same God, however, only one of them actually understood that the timing of biblical events was an event in history, where Gods plan through his son was fulfilled in the great harvest.  This was clearly spoken of in the prophets, whose specific time as referenced in the book of Joel as a timeline

Well, I have read the book of Joel thousands of times. There are two problems with this book, not to those intended: “In that place and in that time.” We of our time conveniently leave out the fact that it was over 2000 years ago in that place and in that time.

I often wondered for many years and I never understood, till it was revealed to me the difference between the Gentiles, which have their own law and Israel who were under the law to the time of Christ. It is very simple, and again it is God’s favouritism towards his own people.
