What many people do not realize is that Jesus was also a prophet, being in the last generation of Israel’s prophets along with John. His parables were not only interesting stories, he described within these parables, the time of the fulfillment, and what God’s intent was for the people of this specific time period. Remember that when he comes, the first thing he does is judge you for your works.
